i guess everyones outside having fun now! =D
stayed up last night to read "Memoirs of a Geisha"
got these paragraphs from there:

found it quite meaningful, so i thought i'd share it with you all

i've been quite down recently,
not many pple know,
cos i still forced a smile on my face
i really felt damn moody
but i realised it isnt the end of the world for me
the world will still keep spinning
life will definitely be full of disappointments,
otherwise it wouldn't be life.
if i keep lettin myself gettin affected by every single problem i face,
then there would be no end to my misery..
i should just try to pick myself up, let go of the past
and move on in life.
friends are important,
but not to the extent whereby my life revolves around them
cos one day.. they will eventually leave me
dad told me,
friends are just people who hang ard with people whom they can make use of
would u hang out with someone whom u cant get any benefits from?
maybe not in a negative way, like making use of for money and etc.
for example,
u expect a friend to be there for you,
lending a listening ear, or a shoulder for u to cry on..
tt fren would also expect you to do the same for her
if you arent able to carry out the roles of a fren,
do you think she would still want you as a fren?
do you think she would still be willing to be a fren to u?

oops i think im sidetracking lols

anyways..
dad told me not to pin too high hopes on frens
cos the higher hopes i have,
the harder i'll fall and it will really hurt.
but i still believe,
best frens are the ones, who will be there for ever.
its a risk im willin to take,
and i'll do anything i can, for a fren
even if in the end, i get disappointed.
